In an effort to attain and uphold the highest standards in the Home Inspection Profession and keeping the best interests of the public and clients in mind, members of this Society have united together to form a cornerstone for the industry based on knowledge, honesty, and professionalism. Hampered neither by political aberration nor self-centered success, each member is dedicated to the integrity of the profession.
These ethics are recognized in all but passive observance.
- Inspectors shall always act in good faith toward each client.

- Inspectors shall express an opinion only when it is based on practical experience, knowledge, and honest conviction.

- Inspectors shall promote good will between the general public lenders, Realtors, and other inspectors.

- Inspectors are expected to provide a level of competent service to the public through continuing education efforts designed to improve knowledge and inspection techniques.

- Inspectors shall not disclose information concerning the results of an inspection without approval of clients or their authorized representatives.

- Inspectors shall not knowingly or recklessly express or imply false or misleading representations regarding competitors, the profession, or their business practices.
