Norm has completed 22,000 residential and light commercial inspections since 1978. He is certified for whole house, mechanical and structural inspection; refrigerant handling , backflow and cross connections, and for hydronic heating (boilers). Norm has served as Education Chairman and drafted the original Standards of Practice for SPPI. He is ASHI certified and has taught many regional seminars for ASHI.
To meet demands of a changing real estate market, Norm developed NSPEC, a computer software system, to generate reports on site and he is currently working with programmers to convert the software to a Palm OS format to make report writing even more efficient and timely.
